Inspection of an oil

If the engine is likened to the "heart", then the oil is the "blood" that keeps the heart beating. This is naturally important! Excessive oil will increase the load on the engine, causing power attenuation, leakage, blue smoke... Conversely, too little oil will result in insufficient engine lubrication conditions, high temperature, accelerated wear, increased vibration, and poor sealing... The lack of oil for a long time, the end result is the destruction of the engine.

How to properly check the amount of oil? What is the most suitable amount of oil? Take the Promise 300R as an example, focus on the key!

1. The vehicle is placed in the N position, the engine is started, and the engine is warmed up for 5 to 10 minutes after the engine is idle.

2. After waiting for 3 minutes, wait for 3 minutes and then support the vehicle. Observe the oil window on the right side of the engine. There are two scale lines next to it, 1.5L and 1.1L respectively, indicating the upper and lower limits of the oil volume. It can also be understood that the oil amount can not exceed 1.5L at most, and the minimum can not be lower than 1.1L, as long as 1.1L and 1.5L are allowed. Of course, it is best to keep the median value of 1.3L.

Two coolant inspection

When you drive the 300R through the streets, walk in the mountains and enjoy this unique happiness. Crossing this violent machine is not only to provide you with plenty of power, but also to create a lot of heat, but you are not aware of it, why?

The high amount of heat in the engine's combustion chamber is cooled by the circulation of the coolant to the radiator for recirculation to the engine, thus ensuring the optimal operating temperature of the engine so as not to cause damage caused by overheating of the engine. Of course, its role is not only to cool the engine, but also to prevent the coolant from solidifying and to prevent the cooling system from rusting. Therefore, the engine will not stop, and this is closely related. So what is the coolant?

Brick home certification: coolant = antifreeze = tank water

So how to check the coolant? Need to pay attention here: the inspection must be carried out after the engine is completely cooled! According to incomplete statistics, the coolant is not checked by hand according to this rule, and the probability of burns is as high as 99%!

First, you have to find the location.

It is on the huge radiator in front of the engine, the accurate positioning is, the upper side of the radiator, black cover.

Then twist it, the direction of unscrewing is of course in accordance with the international order of "left and right tight". It needs to be explained here, the whole process also needs to gently press the lid by hand to complete the perfect opening operation (because there is a spring inside).

After the replenishment is completed, cover the tank cover. A small step is also learned in it:

1. The water tank cover gap is aligned with the water tank cover limit block.

2. Lightly press the right button to the right side and release your hand.

3. Do not press the left screw to ensure that it is stable and not loose.

It is the radiator water tank, commonly known as "back to the kettle," is also considered a water storage device. The working principle is: when the engine is working, the main water tank will produce different pressures at different temperatures, and the auxiliary water tank can play a regulating role (decompression), so the excess water is removed according to the principle of thermal expansion and contraction. When the engine stops running, the temperature inside the water tank will decrease, and the internal pressure of the water tank will become lower, so that the water in the auxiliary water tank will flow back to the radiator, and the auxiliary water tank also plays the role of timely water supply!

Therefore, the coolant of the auxiliary tank needs to be kept at a certain amount so that its adjustment function can be realized.

Three fueling

Refueling your car is one of the skills that every car owner must have. I believe that the owners of the 300R have mastered this skill skillfully.

Is there any need to pay attention to such a simple refueling operation? The answer is yes. Pay attention to the following two points when refueling:

1. The amount of fuel should not be too much

Many car riders will fill the fuel tank "scorpion eyes" when they are refueling. In fact, this method of refueling is not correct. Because the oil at the gas station is kept below the surface, the temperature is low, especially in the hot summer, because of the thermal expansion and contraction, if the oil is too full, it may overflow from the tank vent. Gasoline is particularly volatile. Once it is exposed to an open flame, it will burn instantly. It is very prone to fire. Therefore, when refueling, it must not be too full. It is necessary to leave a certain space for the tank. This will ensure that the oil is sufficient and can be reduced. Safety hazards can also protect the environment.

2. Refueling opportunity

When the 300R fuel tank is full, the meter displays 6 oil levels. The fuel should be replenished before the last oil lamp flashes. This is due to the consideration of protecting the electronic components in the fuel tank.

The 300R's fuel tank has an important electronic component of the EFI system, the oil pump. The oil pump generates heat when it is working, and it does not have the ability to dissipate heat. It needs to be immersed in the gasoline to cool down. When the fuel is not much, the oil pump can't be immersed in the fuel to cool down, which will cause the load to increase when the pump is working, and the rotor will not dissipate heat. Thereby reducing the service life of the oil pump and even burning the oil pump.
